Tired of investing with REAL money? Then the Hollywood Stock Exchange may be just the downtime diversion you seek. Open a free account and "invest" in the latest Hollywood blockbusters, stars, and directors. The movie's (or artist's) real-world performance then dictates the fluctuating stock price. When I checked in, the Tom Hanks starrer "The Green Mile," powered by a big opening weekend at the box office, was the hot stock of the day. But for the fact that's it all fanciful, the page has all the features of a real stock-tracking website. There's a "Market Watch" graph charting the behavior of the exchange over the last 30 days, as well as links to entertainment news articles that may guide you to certain stocks.
