Faithful Men Gospel Quartet

Some of the most beautiful gospel music comes from the throats of the "old fashioned male" gospel quartets, who sing those wonderful "hard time, depression time" spiritual songs. Along with traditional songs, this group sings some new songs. Not only that, but about a third of their songs are a cappella, so that you can hear the rich, deep, four-part harmony. The sounds of the gospel ought not to sound like the "beat" of the disco nor the "rap" of the streets. There ought to be a difference between a "sanctuary" sound and a "street" sound, and these four singers separate the street from the sanctuary. They bring reverence to their music, and reverence to the One behind the music. Anyone can make noise. Not everyone can make music. Hear it for yourself!
