The Gay & Lesbian National Hotline maintains a database containing 17,000 referral listings for people in cities and towns across the United Sates. These resources include local resources (state and regional), newspapers, and national organizations (youth, religious, women, magazines, and cybersites). Here, you'll also find a directory to gay and lesbian bars, clubs, restaurants, and hotels, along with information regarding special events, festivals and pride activities from all over the country. The organization also offers peer counseling, crisis/suicide intervention, and listings of shelters, runaway/throwaway services, and recovery services. In addition to what they have onsite, GLNH can also provide referrals to businesses anxious to have gays and lesbians as customers. This website is an excellent resource for you if you're looking for help and information.
