Graham Parker's Punk Heart's Still Beating

While he's frequently compared to other sharp-tongued singer/songwriters like Elvis Costello and Joe Jackson, Graham Parker never attained the commercial success of those peers, but developed a strong and devoted following nonetheless. This site devoted to Parker and his music is not the slickest fan site on the Web, but what it lacks in design it more than makes up for in content. It features the usual links to pages devoted to discography, tour information, and pictures. More interesting are the periodic columns "Thoughts of Chairman Parker," where Graham himself expounds on whatever is bugging him at the moment, and "Chairman Parker Answers Your Questions," where he takes the time to answer questions submitted by visitors to the site. Like his best lyrics, Parker's writings are full of biting wit. Check out the site for his incisive comments, and pick up one of his albums too. You won't be disappointed.
