Rich Mullins: The Music and the Man

On September 19, 1997, Christian music lost one of its greatest songwriters when Rich Mullins died in a jeep accident. Perhaps best known for penning the worship song, "Awesome God," Rich wrote many songs that touched our hearts and made us think. Rich may be gone but we can relive his music at the "Calling Out Your Name" tribute page. Webmaster Brian William has put together an incredibly extensive fan site. You'll find song lyrics, guitar chords, MIDI files, video clips, and more. This site also lets us see that Rich was much more than just a songwriter by including articles he wrote for Release Magazine. In the song "Elijah," Rich sang, "And it won't break my heart to say goodbye." You're right, Rich, because we'll see you again someday leading the angels in a promenade.
