A group of computer hackers broke into the main databases of major phone companies, downloaded phone card information, and resold the numbers, causing $1.8 million in losses. Customers' private information was stolen and resold. Unfortunately, very few people even heard that there was a problem. These hackers rerouted phone lines, stole credit reports, and much, much more. Is your information safe?
