Actually, she's not a person, but an acronym: eTown's Interactive Decision Assistant, to be precise. Click on the link above, select the piece of equipment that's put you in a quandry, and Ida will help you sift through the oceans of possibility to find just the right VCR (or DVD player, or Palm PC, or speakers) for you. I opted for compact stereo systems, and after answering a couple quick questions about size, sophisication, components, etc., Ida provided me with a short list of customized options.
