Like to be scared out of your noodle? Homepage of the Dead will do just that--unless, of course, you're one of those horror-story/flick junkies who live for the next fright. Inspired by filmmaker George A. Romero (of "Night of the Living Dead" et. al. fame)you'll find many up-and-coming horror writers "following in his footsteps," so to speak. The link above will take you to the Fiction section of the site, where you find scads of creepy tales authored by site readers. (If you've got your own spine-tingling story, you're invited to submit it, too.) The texts' quality can vary, so skim a few to locate your favorite--the site's proprietor has marked his preferences with a star.
