RIAA Sues Music Startup Napster for $20 Billion

The Recording Industry (RIAA) has filed suit against software start-up and community software maker Napster for $20 billion dollars. The RIAA feels that the Napster product "facilitates the growth of a black market for illegal copies of digital music." The core issue is the activity of "MP3 trading."
