It's not every day that someone gets named best race driver of the twentieth century--so four-time Indy 500 winners A.J. Foyt and Mario Andretti had every reason to feel proud when a jury of their peers recently decided that the two legendary racing figures both deserved the grease-stained laurels. Andretti's name has become a household word, and this article from The Race Net details Foyt's many notable achievements, from his first Indy victory in '61 to his contributions as a team owner in the late '90s.
