Self-described as a website for lesbigaytrans writers and friends, O*ink contains a vast amount of information helpful to writers. The site sponsors two weekly web chats regarding all aspects of being a lesbian, bi, or gay writer, and invites established authors and editors to attend. Their site's calendar offers up events, bookstore readings, online chats, and media events around the country. Especially enlightening to published-author wannabes is the "How to find..." page containing listings of agents, editors, writing groups, and other useful resources. Their Q*ink Library has a list of their member's works (and some photos) as well as gay and gay-friendly bookstores--both on and offline. Finally, the site includes a directory to awards, contests, and publications that are seeking submissions from gay writers in every genre imaginable, including, horror, humor, religious, romance, travel and more. If you're a gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender scribe, Q*ink might be for you!
