Cyber-trip to the Holy Land

Want a quick "cyber-trip" to the Holy Land? This joint project of CyberFranciscans and Christus Rex is great viewing. Of special interest during the Christmas season are pictures of the traditional birthplace of Christ. Bethlehem: The Town and Its Surroundings features a short description of Bethlehem. It gives a history of the area, complete with many photographs. There are also some wonderful photographs of the shepherd's field and the Annunciation site at Nazareth. From this site, you can link to other Cristus Rex sites, which provide thousands of photos of Christian holy sites. It's a jumping-off place for "feasting your eyes" on holy sites and wonderful Christian art.
