Calling all Satellites

I love this article. Read about some satellite phone providers selling their services in response to the Y2K scare. Some companies are retailing the phones for $3000, with per minute rates at $7 dollars! And companies, fearful that their phone service will be cut off, are buying. A few of the saner analysts helpfully point out that satellite phone users will still be unable to connect with anyone on a land line phone. Priceless!
