Leonard Bernstein

A fan in England has crafted this surprisingly erudite fan page devoted to American composer Leonard Bernstein. There are eight sections in all. "Biography," "Chronology," and "Links" all explain themselves. The "Educator" section focuses on Bernstein's work as a teacher, writer, and lecturer, and contains an extensive bibliography of his books and artciles. "Files" takes you to a page of archived articles, images, and sound files. Unfortunately, none of the MIDIs worked when I tried them. Finally, there are separate pages covering Bernstein's contributions to theater, opera, and recorded music--incluiding information on his "lost" musical "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue." This is a website you can get lost in for a long time.
