In June of 1998, the Government of Australia had the foresight to conduct the first National Forum on Men and Family Relationships, one of just several initiatives being developed to address effective ways to help men deal with the emotional and practical issues they face following the breakdown of marriages and relationships. This site is the online version of those proceedings. The great wealth of information found here includes topics like meeting the step-family challenge, constructive alternatives to harmful behaviour, parenting skills, the impact of gender expectations, violent masculinity, and working with men for responsibility, intimacy, and respect in relationships.
