This FCC fact sheet is a good resource for pretecting yourself against being "slammed" (having your telephone carrier switched without your knowledge or consent). It outlines anti-slamming rules and provides guidelines for filing a complaint with the FCC. Included in this article are regulations pertaining to Letters of Agency (LOA's) and the address to send complaints. All telephone customers should bookmark or print this out and store it for reference.
