the sounds of science...fiction

Site: http://www.achilles.net/~jgreen/sounding.html

SF fans who love to have their imaginations tweaked aurally (as opposed to via the written word) will get a kick out of Jeff Green's Soundings website, which features synopses of such radio dramas as Spaxter, The Tuning, Vigilante, and Plague. The upside: the site's .wav files (usually aboout a half-dozen sound clips per drama) download real fast, and give you a vivid glimpse of what these great productions were like. The downside: you have to pay to listen to the entire show. But for eleven plays, $40US doesn't seem too bad...merchandising aside, this is an interesting site to visit to learn a bit about SF in the world of radio.
