Part of security is keeping secrets secure

PC Week Labs tested two e-mail security packages that include some combination of monitoring and/or encryption. When keeping a site or network safe, the biggest threat comes from someone on the inside communicating passwords or holes to someone on the outside. Although these products start to address this issue, the reviews of Mailsweeper 4.1, Secretsweeper 2.0 and Cameo all indicate that the software has far to go before meeting the needs of the administrator looking to safeguard communications.
