Flash vs. Shockwave: One Wins, One Dies

My job recently called for me to bone up on the world of multimedia programming. Perhaps you, too, are still learning about this world, or would like to introduce it to others. That's where this terrific article from Streaming Media World comes in. Entitled "Flash and Shockwave, What's the Difference?" it offers a clear, concise introduction to the two programs, and compares their features and attrributes. In the end, the author comes down on the side of Flash, favoring its superior streaming over Director's advanced interactive capability. Perhaps you have a different opinion. I hope to try both and form my own conclusions!
