Cypress Gardens - flowers in bloom

With the new year approaching and the cold days of winter upon us, wouldn't it be nice to visit a place that always seems to be in full bloom? Well, take a look at this website. It is the home of Cypress Gardens flowers and it lists the various flower festivals that are going on throughout the winter. Right now, you can still catch the Poinsettia Festival & Festival of Trees (until January 9, 2000). Soon to bloom are large and small topiary that will be showcased during the ninth annual spring flower festival between March 15th and May 15th, 2000. And more... Can't get away to Winter Haven Florida just yet? Then click on the link for their bloom calendar. It lists the various plants that are in bloom during the different months. The list may be helpful in giving you ideas on different plants to grow. You can also write and ask for answers to your gardening questions from Joe Freeman, the chief horticulturist for Cypress Gardens. You will have to do this via snail mail, as they don't have an e-mail link for questions yet.
