Fashion illustrator Victor Osaka does great artwork. In his article, "The Heartbeat of Los Angeles: Politics and Power in the Fashion Industry," ( http://www.3dman.com/articles/heartbeat.htm ) Vic states, "This single industry is the largest employer in Los Angeles with some 4000 manufacturers and over 250,000 employees...one-forth of the nation's apparel production." Victor has prepared a couple of tutorials with photographs and step-by-step directions at http://www.3dman.com/Tutorials/Tutorials1.htm : one is on how to use a rotary cutter wisely, the other is on using dumbbell weights to hold down patterns while cutting with the rotary cutter.
