GIBRALTAR ENCYCLOPEDIA OF PROGRESSIVE ROCK

This website allows you to search for information and reviews about progressive rock bands. If you're familiar with the big acts such as Pink Floyd, Yes, Jethro Tull or Genesis and want to branch out some, browse through the index and you'll probably pick up some names you've heard before. The descriptions include band history, discographies, and album reviews. There is also a listing of progressive rock sub-genres (which is cross-referenced in many of the descriptions) if you want to specialize and research a particular vein of music. I find this to be an indispensable resource for my CD buying decisions!
