The Science of the X-files

The X-files from a scientific perspective. Whether or not you like the show and just love special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, you should check this out. Pick an episode--the Pilot show, for instance--and straight away you find out that some of the science is a bit flawed, to say the least. For instance, in this particular episode, Scully said that time is a "universal invariant," which of course it isn't, as this site points out. It's very tastefully done and provides excellent explanations and links to the science underpinning some of the statements and assumptions of the X-files. Very interesting site!
