Top » Environment, Nature & WildlifeTake a Walk in the RainforestSite: http://www.pbs.org/tal/costa_rica/rainwalk.htmlOn this site are found lovely pictures of birds, plants and other animals indigenous to the rainforest. As you travel through, observe the different flora and fauna you would see if you were actually there. Some of the sounds you'd hear at night are frogs croaking, monkeys catcalling, and bats cheeping as they fly. Rainforests come to life after dark when different nocturnal creatures awaken. They are the habitat of 50-90% of all the earthly class of flora and fauna. In addition to supplying us with oxygen, they help preserve our characteristic weather patterns and give us fundamental foods and medicines. As you can see, all living creatures on the planet have a reason to cherish this natural resource. Mon, 27 Dec 1999 05:48:50 -0800
