an angel's voice

When I heard Cynthia Clawson sing twenty years ago, I thought I was hearing an angel, and then she seemed to drop out of sight. Today, she has dropped back in. Click your mouse on Discography on the home page of the site linked above, and review the last twenty years of a dedicated, self-sacrificing, pioneer of gospel music at the highest level of achievement. Clawson has won five Dove Awards (out of five nominations) as well as a Grammy. She has dedicated her life to being involved with numerous other artists, lifting them up, working with them, unceasingly displaying an obvious "out of this world" strength: As she goes up others go up with her. There are few in the gospel ministry to reach up to her standards let alone excel above them. And above all, she still sounds like an angel.
