The website for the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) is an excellent all-around resource which provides information on the basic types of abuse and why it occurs, numerous links, updates on relevant legislation, statistics, newsletters, and much more. Most importantly, there's a whole page of toll-free numbers you can call if you or someone you know is in a vulnerable situation and needs help. Don't be afraid to get the assistance you need.
