This fan page is essentially a link page, dedicated to Half Japanese, Jad Fair's band--an American band that remains unknown in the U.S. The page itself is pleasing to the eye, but without "eye candy." It is simply a well-laid-out page, covering an important band. Included on this page are a Discography, News, Streaming Audio, a Photo Gallery, Interviews, Album Reviews, and links to other related pages. This band opened for Nirvana at Kurt Cobain's request. They have also toured extensively with Hall of Fame drummer Maureen (Moe) Tucker, (ex-Velvet Underground). The website, though not dazzling, is informative. More importantly, the Music of Half Japanese is experimental and truly alternative, and pleasing to the ear of any Rock fan. You can even download a scream from Jad Fair, in .wav or .au formats. This is a band worth listening to. Half Japanese is the embodiment of alternative rock.
