Created by a group of ska fanatics "who love Jesus Christ and awesome music," the Skanktified Ska Center is one of the most well-maintained Christian ska/punk sites on the Net. If you're looking for bands who combine the energy and joy of this hybrid of Jamaican mento rhythm and R&B with a reverence for the Son of Man, just click on the "Bands" link. The "Music" section was not complete when I visited, but promises to allow you to sample the works of such God-fearing ska and punk acts as Noggin Tobaggon, Skankin' Buvas, and Uncle Fred Won the Lottery. And "Tributes" currently features a paean to Christian ska legends Five Iron Frenzy. A really thorough examination of an oft-overlooked sub-genre of Christian music.
