In news that should send silicon stocks skyrocketing, the New York Post reports that national snitch Linda Tripp has undergone "top-to-bottom" plastic surgery in an attempt to make herself over in time for her trial on wiretapping charges in Maryland. Sadly, there are no pictures included in the online version of the story, though the photos I saw confirm Lucianne Goldberg's opinion that Tripp "looks like she's had a head transplant." Mortified by media portrayals of her as a braying, horse-toothed she-male, Tripp reportedly shelled out around $30,000 for the face-lift, which she procured from a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon whom I assume was NOT Bernard Lewinsky. The only question now is, is the woman who famously declared "I am you" still "me" after all this work? I wonder.
