the health hazards of cell phones

As the popularity of cell phones has skyrocketed in the past few years, murmurs of concern have grown louder and louder. According to naysayers, the evidence is strong that mobile phone transmissions are a major cause of brain cancer. I've read a few different articles on the topic, but I found ZDNet's particuarly good: It discusses the research that has been and is being conducted, without disintigrating into hysterical paranoia. Most troubling to me was one investigator's allegation that Motorola has been suppressing information. If, as some anti-cell-phone advocates claim, there's a strong parallel between mobile technology and the tobacco industry, we can expect to hear much more about this topic in the future.
