Drive Thru Gambling Available in Texas

The Lone Star Race track in Grand Prairie, Texas, now offers drive thru service. The service is designed for the convenience of those who would like to place their bets on their way to work. There are four lanes open in the track parking lot from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on race days. The drive thru offers face-to-face service, and Lone Star assures that they will not convert to box speakers. Wagerers can also receive up to $100 in winnings at the window. Users of the track are happy about flexibility that the new service offers them. The Texas Council on Problem and Compulsive Gambling thinks that the drive thru will encourage compulsive gamblers, who will be able to bet on impulse rather than planning a trip to the track.
