John Walker, founder of AutoDesk and co-author of Autocad, has created a wonderful site packed with free astronomy, physics, and linguistics software, as well as screen savers, humor, articles dealing with natural science, linguistics, technology, and computing (including Linux). The flagship program HomePlanet is a planetarium program which provides a cuckoo clock chime for your system clock. (The main site is in Switzerland, of course. But the site referenced here is the North American mirror.)
