The grand old game of baseball is rich in tradition and its history is constantly being researched. The Society for American Baseball Research does a fine job of adding to our knowledge of the game. From the early playing fields to the Negro Leagues of the '30s and '40s it provides research into facets of the game that have been lost and forgotten.
