Check Out The UK Pop Music Scene

"The Insider's Guide to Music" at dotmusic.com is a well-crafted website out of the UK. With a nice color scheme (or should I say "colour scheme"), this site gives a good look at the pop music scene in the UK today. There are links to News, Charts, Artists, Dance, Community, as well as an online shop. During a recent visit, I found follow-up reporting on the Puffy/Lopez incident and a guide to music on the telly. Recent concerts by Oasis, Blur, Chemical Brothers and Spice Girls led off the Reviews section, while Interviews featured Live's Ed Kowalczyk, Ozzy Ozbourne, and Tom Jones. Charts includes the obligatory top albums and singles for the year, along with some "Top Ten" charts submitted by dotmusic readers. The Dance section features MJ Cole, Roni Size, and Crust, while the Community section links to chat rooms and discussion areas. The dotmusic.com site is all things a good web site should be--visually pleasant, not overdone graphically, with timely content from interesting writers. Check it out if you're interested in the pop music scene with a decidedly UK flavor--I mean "flavour."
