Hey Lady!

L.D. Chapman, construction manager and bard of home improvement, has provided a tremendous service for single women--and just about everybody else--with his site titled "Hey Lady! You Need Help With That!?" "Tired of seeing [women] taken advantage of by those sharks in the white service vans," Chapman has begun writing columns directed at the woman with no "guy du jour" in her life to fix things around the house. This site seems to be fairly new (only one article in the archives so far), but a click on the link above will take you to a great essay on how to save a bundle getting your electrical outlets checked.
