Yeah, I know, the big New Year's Eve scare is all over, blah blah blah, not even one airplane crash, blah blah blah, and how passé is it to collect canned food? But now that millennium horror is yesterday's news, it's kind of endearing to look way back to last week and see how things were when everyone was all worked up about Y2K, or the '00s, or whatever you want to call it. If you're not above indulging in post-'90s nostalgia (like me), you'll get a kick out of Jessica Pennington's article for the Stranger titled "Who Needs a Boyfriend in Heaven?" Thank you, sassy J.P., for providing such honest and practical answers to the question we've all considered in one form or another. The "Greatest Prom of the Universe" may not come as quickly as you thought, but at least we can have a laugh while we wait.
