It was the best of times...

One of the wonders of the Internet is that you can read newspapers from places far away. I regularly read the Boston Phoenix for the excellent wine columns written by Thor Iverson and David Marglin. David is not afraid to take an unfashionable line, such as insisting that "real men do drink pink," while Thor files his finely crafted articles under punning titles such as "I'm oaky, you're oaky" and "The glass is always grüner." (Oak in wine and Austria's Grüner Veltliner grape.) My favorite Iverson title, though, is "It was the best of times, it was the gewürz of times" (Gewürztraminer). David and Thor's online article archive offers more than the paper version could. They have one of the best examples of hyperlinking that I have seen. The freshness and sheer readability of their articles make this an outstanding site.
