At&T buys cable company

AT&T, the country's telecom behemoth, just got a little bigger. According to this recent article from Media Central, Cable Co-op, San Francisco’s independent cable co-op, was bought on Thursday by AT&T for a cool $90 million. The purchase is expected to give the languishing cable company a much-needed shot in the arm, and the co-ops subscribers were strongly in support of the acquisition.
