Howl, baby, howl

Whether you're a devoted fan of Howlin' Wolf or an unsuspecting convert-to-be (and who isn't), you owe it to yourself to drop by Perfect Sound Forever's unofficial Howlin' Wolf site. This cleanly executed tribute to the blues great features a discography, links, and lyrics a-plenty, as well as a full page of photos (serious Wolf, happy Wolf, Wolf in full howl, etc.). Probably the most interesting area is the Articles section, where you can read Wolf's bio, an interview with Hubert Sumlin (the legendary guitarist who played guitar with Wolf), and Bonnie Raitt's opinions on how Wolf epitomized virility (!). Howlin' Wolf may be gone, but he's certainly not forgotten--and this website is a great way to remember the man who left an indelible mark on the blues canon.
