Surfing the Net can get tedious at times, but this site was like a shot of B12. Faithful Friends Animal-Assisted Therapy Ministry based in Houston's Clear Lake area is an unusual church. These very special dogs and their "moms" visit nursing homes, hospitals, rehab centers, and other places where spiritual uplifting is so desperately needed. There are Bible-based teachings on this site, and links to other pet programs such as "Dogs Against Drugs." Good information can be found on what to do if your pet is lost, or if you or your church wants to start an animal-assisted therapy program.
