Edward Hopper Scrapbook

Created by the staff of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, this multimedia piece gives you a glimpse into Edward Hopper's life. In this site, which is styled after an old-fashioned scrapbook, you will find snapshots and memorabilia as well as reproductions of letters written to family and friends by the artist. A collection of his works from the different periods is presented in the same format. Some of the exhibit features also have sound files, which are from sources as varied as one of his young art students to Edward Hopper himself. It's an excellent resource if you want to get reacquainted with Hopper's work and learn a little more about the man who created it.
