Top » Fitness & NutritionNo Wonder We Die Sooner!Site: http://www.nationalmenshealthweek.com/newpage2.htmThe average life expectancy for a woman is 76.4. For a man it's 68.6. Why should that be? Maybe it's because women visit the doctor 30 percent more often than men. Maybe it's because they live a healthier lifestyle. The article "Men's vs. Women's Health Facts", provided at the National Men's Health Week website lists some disturbing statistics. In 1998, there were 265,000 new cases of lung cancer in women, 772,000 in men. Some 136,000 women between the ages 45-64 suffered a heart attack, while 424,000 men did. There were 58,000 new cases of bladder cancer in women, 203,000 in men. With the odds stacked against us, this might be a good time to look at our diet and fitness, and to have that medical exam we always seem to put off.
