The ongoing soukous party

I may not know exactly what the dictionary definition for soukous music might be, but you don't have to be a connoisseur of African music to appreciate the colorful energy of these upbeat, bouncy tunes. Currently, just over a hundred RealAudio songs can be downloaded at this site, but here's the fun part: when the webmaster first puts them online, he doesn't know who sings them or what album they're on! It's up to the fans (that means you) to write in the answer to each melodic mini-mystery. If you're new to soukous, you'll enjoy just browsing the different song files and read about the entries that have been successfully identified--while the african music aficionadoes can contribute their taxonomic wisdom to the directory.
