my pc freaked! what can i do?

Nothing sucks more than an inopportune crash of your computer (and when exactly is a crash opportune, anyway?). PC Magazine recently reviewed some software that may help you out when your machine goes haywire, allowing to to back up to when everything was hunky-dory. The magazine's editors tested five recovery tools--GoBack 2.1, SecondChance 2.0, ConfigSafe Desktop Edition 3.0, 9Lives 1.0, and PictureTaker Personal Edition 2.0. They put all the packages through their paces, and provide a few paragraphs on the pro's and con's of each.
