Seasonality: the tennis bugbear

At least that's what the editors at Vitartennis think. It may seem superficial, but the fact that (unlike baseball, football, etc.) there's not one easy-to-remember time of year for watching tennis events is definitely a stumbling block for anyone concerned with advancing tennis' popularity. Purists might argue that creating a more coherent schedule to coddle the inadequacy of the masses would demean the sport--but how long can such an attitude be sustained?
