It's hard not to feel an affection for the goofy, elastic sounds of the Jew's harp--in fact, some people felt so strongly about this unique and time-honored instrument that they decided to organize a guild dedicated to the delightful goal of Jew's harp preservation and appreciation. In addition to the online forum, newsletter, festival announcements, and other de rigeur material, this site sports a long page of historical information (including the different names the instrument is called by around the world), a sizeable pictorial archive, detailed instructions on how to play the Jew's harp, and an abundance of other sundry articles and resources.
