You've got questions? The CGI FAQ Wizard's got the answers. Although this site includes a search engine, you can probably get all the answers you need just by perusing the lists--the index is fairly compact, and addresses such issues as validating e-mail addresses, cookie use, and "What's this Bobo thing i've [sic] heard about?" The most recent changes were on Dec. 15, so rest assured your answers will be up to date.
