Looking for a one-stop resource on tire care and tire safety? Then why not go straight to the source? The Tire Industry Safety Council has created a tremendous website designed to answer almost any tire-related question. Click on links for Tire Inspection (showing you how to spot uneven treadware), Cold Weather Driving (did you know that for every 10 degrees drop in temperature, the air pressure inside your tires goes down about one or two pounds per square inch?), even Storage Tips (tires should be stored quite like potatoes, in a cool, dry, dark place). Once you've mastered the menu here, you'll be eminently well qualified to deal with whatever tire disasters befall you this winter.
