There are lots of more or less stereotypical things that distinguish guys and gals, and you probably won't be surprised to learn that taste in cars is no exception. This interesting article from Women's Wire talks about the various factors that direct the choices women make when shopping for wheels. Journalist Mary Peacock tempers run-of-the-mill facts with more pointed deductions (women go for more practical cars because they have less disposable income), and also discusses the effect of women who drive sports cars. Overall, an interesting footnote to the simmering automotive inequality of the sexes.
