Hut, hut, homies!

A GOOD sports game for the Mac? It CAN'T be...can it? Christopher Breen, the reviewer for MacWorld, says it can. Breen gives Madden NFL 2000 for the Mac a qualified thumbs up, despite a clunky interface and documentation that leaves something to be desired (so what else is new?). Despite these limitations, the football simulation's "amazing depth and varied game play" make it immensely appealing in a gaming world where Apple-o-philes are often shut out from all the fun. A trenchant critique of a valuable contribution to our shared pop cultural heritage.
